What is the size of your band?
The band is normally 8 people:  3 singers, bass, drums, keyboard, lead guitar and rhythm guitar with vocals. We often add 2 horns for extra pizzazz. JENERATOR has 5 members in all.

What music genres does your band play?
We play a wide variety of music that includes 80's, 90's, country, some 60's and 70's, some newer dance songs. Do we take requests? Of course! JENERATOR focuses mainly on classic rock, blues, and pop.

Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Absolutely.

What is your band’s usual attire?
The band usually dresses in semi-formal attire. We are happy to dress for the event - just let us know.

Do you offer live recordings and video of your performances ?
Yes. There is an added fee for a videographer and sound recording.

How much time do you need for setup?
For our regular band we need  2-3 hours, usually in the afternoon on the day of the performance.

How much space do you require for the 8 piece band?
It is best to have about 24 feet x 16 feet (but there's a bit of wiggle room if necessary).

What special equipment is offered with your service?
We bring a PA system, lighting, and a sound tech who manages the sound and lights.

What about breaks? If you need a meal break, is the client required to provide your meal?
We usually do a 75 minute set and two 60 minute sets in a performance, with two 15 minute breaks. We can play two longer sets for a small fee. If the client requires us to be there for the dinner, we ask that a meal be provided.

Do you play recorded music during your break?
Yes.

Does the band travel to events outside of Winnipeg?
Yes! We will happily travel to your event. Additional fees will apply.

I would like to host a house concert. How do I do that?
Check out our House Concerts page. It has a helpful “how to” section that will help you get started.
