"You're No Good" is a song written by Clint Ballard, Jr., first performed by Dee Dee Warwick for Jubilee Records in 1963 with production by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.  It has since been covered by many artists, including charting versions by Betty Everett in 1963, The Swinging Blue Jeans in 1964, and Linda Ronstadt in 1975, whose version was a number 1 hit in the United States.

Jennifer Hanson puts her stamp on this great American song. "Jesus Is Just Alright" is a gospel song written by Arthur Reid Reynolds and first recorded by Reynolds' own group, The Art Reynolds Singers, on their 1966 album, Tellin' It Like It Is.

The song has been covered by a number of bands and artists over the years, including The Byrds, Underground Sunshine, The Doobie Brothers, Alexis Korner, The Ventures, DC Talk, Stryper, Shelagh McDonald, and Robert Randolph (featuring Eric Clapton).

Jennifer Hanson sings the Canadian National Anthem at the last game ever for the Winnipeg Jets.  The Winnipeg Jets relocated to become the Phoenix Coyotes, then moved to Atlanta, where ironically Jennifer lives, to become the Atlanta Thrashers.  Atlanta lost their Thrashers back to Winnipeg.  Will Jennifer ever return to sing for her beloved Jets? Maybe!  But, who knows what happened to that red dress........

 

2016 NHL ALUMNI GAME, CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM PERFORMED BY JENNIFER HANSON

Oct 22, 2016, Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic & Alumni Game Opening National Anthem with the loud TRUE NORTH

 

Inspired by the great blues singer, Kathi McDonald's version of this Etta James classic, Jennifer sings, "I'd Rather Go Blind," backed by the House Salad {Ray's On The River house band) in homage to Kathi.

Jennifer Hanson's version does her proud.
